THIS IS A CONTRACT TO HIRE OPPORTUNITY! We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineering Manager with strong expertise in Snowflake to lead our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Snowflake architecture, design, implementation, and optimization to drive our data warehouse initiatives. The Data Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the team, managing and mentoring team members, and ensuring the successful delivery of data engineering projects. Responsibilities: Lead the data engineering team in the design, development, and maintenance of our Snowflake data warehouse Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and ensure the accuracy and completeness of data pipelines Develop and implement best practices for Snowflake architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes Work with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements Manage the team's resources, including hiring, training, and performance management Continuously evaluate and improve our data engineering processes, tools, and technologies Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations
