Job Summary:This individual works in a team environment in a hybrid role in Columbia, MD, and will be responsible for planning and conducting a wide range of quality control tasks, including analyzing requirements; test planning and strategy; developing and executing test cases; evaluating and documenting test results; and promoting teamwork and organizational integrity.Responsibilities:- Review documentation to understand testing requirements, test environments and objectives.
- Use standardized testing methods, tools and procedures to ensure testing is efficient, effective and comprehensive.
- Translate requirements into detailed test plans and test cases.
- Design and create test cases / scripts to validate requirements
- Execute manual and automated test cases and test scripts.
- Perform functional integration and regression testing.
- Advise Test Manager/Project Manager regarding overall quality of project and state of work.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with co-workers and management team.
- Experience with test case preparation, test execution, requirement traceability, peer reviews, defect tracking
- Experience with Agile based projects
- Experience with MicroFocus ALM and/or JIRA
- Experience with EDI transactions
- Experience with database queries
- Experience with 270/271 transactions
- Experience with Medicare
- Experience with TCP/IP, SOAP & MIME protocols.
- Experience with JMeter & SOAP UI
- Experience with CMS projects
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology-related field (preferred).
- 5 years of prior Health IT experience.
