Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group has partnered with an innovative information security company seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team. This position is 100% remote; prefer someone who is local to come onsite 1 day/week. Responsibilities:

  • Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available
  • Collaborate with software engineers to define infrastructure and deployment requirements
  • Configure/maintain cloud infrastructure defined as code
  • Ensure configuration/compliance with configuration management tools
  • Administer/troubleshoot Linux based systems
  • Build/maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of cloud infrastructure and systems

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • Solid foundation of networking and Linux administration
  • Solid scripting skills (e.g., Python or Bash)
  • Experience with Docker, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines in Gitlab
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google)
  • Work Status: due to government requirement, only US Citizens will be considered for this role
  • Clearance Type: active Secret Clearance
