The Sales & Events Coordinator is an entry level position with a career path to the Sales arena.The Sales and Events Coordinator plays a vital support role within the hotel’s Sales and Events team, assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of group business and special events. This position helps drive revenue by supporting sales initiatives, managing administrative functions, preparing client-facing materials, and facilitating communication across departments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.What You'll Do:

Assist the sales team with qualifying and responding to group sales leads, preparing lead responses, and ensuring timely follow-up with potential clients.

Create customized, professional sales proposals tailored to client needs, showcasing property features, services, and event capabilities to effectively position the hotel against competitors.

Draft detailed sales and catering agreements, ensuring accuracy in terms, dates, and contracted elements; work closely with the Sales Manager or Director for review and approval.

Accurately enter bids and proposals into the hotel’s sales tracking system (e.g., Delphi, Opera, or CI/TY), ensuring all relevant data is captured and updated regularly.

Assist with content creation and scheduling for social media platforms to promote meetings, events, and special offers; support marketing initiatives including email campaigns, flyers, and digital collateral.

Collaborate with the Events or Catering team to assist with on-site event execution as needed, ensuring a smooth guest experience during group arrivals, meetings, and functions.

Participate in outbound solicitation efforts including research, cold calls, and database updates. Support various marketing campaigns, trade show prep, and promotional materials.

Review contracts for completeness and accuracy before they are sent to clients, confirming all terms and clauses are in alignment with hotel policies and client expectations.

Serve as a liaison between clients and internal departments by facilitating communication before, during, and after events, ensuring all event details are properly shared and executed.

Host prospective clients and planners for site visits, showcasing the hotel’s event spaces, guest rooms, amenities, and services while tailoring tours to client needs.

Qualifications:
