Help Desk Analyst II

Description We are seeking a Help Desk Analyst II to join our team in Bethesda, Maryland. In this role, you will be responsible for providing basic support and maintenance within the Information Technology department. This includes tasks such as printer/copier support, equipment maintenance, storage room upkeep, desk setups, and A/V support. You will also assist in basic laptop troubleshooting and other tasks as assigned.Responsibilities: Provide a high level of customer service while supporting office staff in a fast-paced environment Set up and support video conference and telecommunications systems for meetings Provide A/V support for special office events Maintain desk setups, including new hire setup, office moves, and regularly monitoring all desks for extra, missing, or malfunctioning equipment Assist staff as needed with missing or malfunctioning desk equipment Maintain Asset Management database Coordinate the repair and return of damaged laptops Provide printer support, including toner & paper refresh, ordering supplies, removing jams and recycling toner Coordinate the repair and maintenance of office printers with outside vendors Manage storage room inventory and cleanliness, and order supplies when low Keep record of inventory on loan and follow up as needed for equipment return Coordinate IT courier services and FedEx shipments Assist staff on the use of office equipment, including fax, scanner, and copier Provide basic IT troubleshooting tasks. Skills: Customer Service Computer Hardware Desktop Hardware Associated Hardware Audio Visual Conference Room Setup & Cleanup Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in Customer Service Knowledge of Computer Hardware and Desktop Hardware Experience with Associated Hardware Familiarity with Audio Visual equipment Ability to manage Conference Room Setup & Cleanup Proven problem-solving skills in a Help Desk Analyst role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of ITIL processes and ITIL Certification would be advantageous Relevant technical certifications would be a plus Experience with ticketing systems would be beneficial Must be open to working in shifts or flexible hours as required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field would be desirable.
