We are hiring a a skilled Director of Finance to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving our financial and operational success.Where You Will Work:Our East Operations Regional Support office is located in Bethesda MD. AIR values relationships and the benefits from working side by side with teammates, therefore this position will be in-office 5 days a week to support the team.Position Overview: The Director of Finance will be responsible for supporting cross-functional teams across the organization, providing operational insights, and driving key financial initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical and leadership skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.What You Will Do:Key Responsibilities:Reporting and Insights: Support cross-functional teams by delivering actionable reporting and insights to guide decision-making and influence property operations.Solution Development: Diagnose complex situations and contribute to the development and implementation of effective solutions.Build Relationships: Foster strategic partnerships across departments to enhance collaboration, streamline processes, and support organizational goalsFinancial Management: Oversee all aspects of financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, while maintaining a focus on performance metrics and operational efficiency.Forecasting and Planning: Lead monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and multi-year strategic planning processes.Financial Operations Support: Tackle challenging problems across financial operations disciplines, including FP&A, Capital Planning, Revenue Management, Decision Support, and Acquisitions.Key Traits for Success:A collaborative self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.Enjoys solving complex problems and welcomes the challenge of improving business results while working with others.Ambition to grow their skill set, expertise, and technical knowledge.Ability to balance a detail-oriented approach with a big-picture perspective.Strong planning and organizational skills.Excellent communication skills, proactive, and highly attentive to detail.
