The Director of Development will be a strategic thought-partner, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), who will develop ACMGF’s culture of philanthropy across staff and volunteer leadership.  This role will be responsible for growing sustainable revenue by creating a strong stewardship process that engages the Board and executive team in cultivating significant partnerships. This role will plan, manage, and coordinate all fundraising activities, including setting goals, cultivating and soliciting individual and corporate prospects, stewarding donors, managing annual appeals, and other development-related activities.  The successful candidate will also grow the donor base by thinking creatively about prospect identification, as well as by leveraging the ACMG Foundation’s resources to attract and engage new donors, build visibility, and showcase impact of a donor’s investment. The Director of Development will play a critical role in partnering with the executive leadership team in strategic decision making and operations for the ACMG Foundation for Genetic and Genomic Medicine as we continue to enhance quality programming and build capacity.
