Eaton’s Aerospace Division is currently seeking a EHS Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our Beltsville, MD facility.The expected annual salary range for this role is $75037.5 - $110055.0 a year.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:This position supports environmental, health, safety and security at the Beltsville, MD manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include supporting EHS activities at the site; performing risk assessments; compliance inspections; design and/or implementation of EHS solutions; internal reporting of EHS performance; communication of federal, state, and local regulatory requirements; closure of MESH and regulatory findings in a timely manner; completion of training for required EHS personnel; and creating a strong zero incident EHS culture that engages employees throughout the site in EHS teams and processes.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Support the implementation and sustainment of OSHA compliance programs, including, but not limited to; PPE, Hearing Conservation, Respiratory Protection, Machine Guarding, Lock Out Tag Out, Confined Space, Industrial Powered Trucks, Contractor safety, and Hazard communication.

Partner with front-line leadership to drive a robust zero-incident EHS culture by supporting daily EHS communications, providing guidance on EHS policies and procedures, and involving production teams in proactively identify risks and driving improvements.workstation risk assessments, ergonomic assessments, and job safety analysis

Track and perform analysis on appropriate leading and lagging EHS indicators.

Assist with developing, tracking, and conducting required EHS training.

Develop campaigns to promotes zero incident EHS culture throughout site.

Support

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in safety and / or environmental science or Safety and/or Environmental engineering from an accredited institution.

2+ year of environmental, health and / or safety experience in a manufacturing environment.

Must be authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now or in the future.

This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Beltsville, MD will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred qualifications:

3+ year of environmental, health and/or safety experience in a manufacturing environment.

Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Graduate Safety Professional (GSP)

Experience with environmental permitting and regulatory compliance

Comprehension of Eaton, industry, state, and country EHS&S requirements.

Understanding of ISO 14001 standards and internal auditor
