JOB DESCRIPTION:
KNIGHTS LOGISTICS LLC is seeking a SEASONAL INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR DELIVERY DRIVERS with their own vehicles (CAR, MINIVAN, SUV, OR CARGO VAN) to join our Last Mile Delivery team during the holiday season.
DEDICATED & FLOATING, Full-time and Part-time routes available (typically in ONE zip-code).
Warehouse in Jessup, MD. Deliveries in Baltimore, MD.
Priority given to drivers who can do some weekend work.
STARTS IMMEDIATELY!
Earnings Paid Weekly via Direct Deposit.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
As one of our contract drivers, you will be responsible for:
Picking up your route at Jessup Warehouse.
Delivering packages to designated locations generally within a single zip-code.
Ensuring all packages are delivered on time and in a good condition.
Using the technology platform to handle customer deliveries, update delivery status.
Maintaining communication with dispatch and customers.
Handling packages with care to prevent damage.
Maintaining a clean and well-functioning vehicle
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
May be Required to Pass Background & Drug Screenings.
Must Have a Valid Driver's License and a Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report
Must Have Proof of Insurance and Maintain 100,000/300,000 Insurance Coverage
Must Have a Clean, Reliable Vehicle
Must Be Able to Lift Packages up to 50 Pounds.
Must Have a Smartphone and be Comfortable with Using Technology.
