Happy Express Freight LLC is hiring for 2 jobs Package delivery & East coast (OTR) Cargo van driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages to residential and commercial addresses. They operate delivery vehicles, such as vans or trucks, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages.
Responsibilities:
Load and unload packages: Accurately load and unload packages onto and from the delivery vehicle, following proper safety procedures.
Navigate routes: Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, using GPS or other navigation tools.
Deliver packages: Deliver packages to the correct addresses, ensuring customer satisfaction and accuracy.
Handle customer inquiries: Respond to customer inquiries or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
Maintain vehicle: Perform routine maintenance on the delivery vehicle, including checking tire pressure, fluid levels, and overall condition.
Follow safety regulations: Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations, ensuring the safety of themselves and others on the road.
Maintain accurate records: Keep accurate records of deliveries, including tracking numbers, signatures, and any issues encountered.
Skills and Qualifications:
Physical fitness: Ability to lift, carry, and deliver packages of varying sizes and weights max 50lbs
Customer service skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers professionally.
Time management skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
Attention to detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate delivery of packages.
Problem-solving skills: Ability to think critically and solve problems that may arise during deliveries.
Additional Requirements:
Will require a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Will require to pass a background check and drug test.
Will require some experience in the delivery industry.
Package Delivery
Weekly pay depending on how many packages delivered per day.
Monday to Saturday report to warehouse by 7.30 am to load up packages for the day.
Route available is Hanover area in Maryland.
East coast (OTR) Cargo van driver rate will be advised after interest is shown.
