J.R. Mechanical Services, Inc. is a small family-run business that specializes in HVACR services for residential, commercial, and light industrial refrigeration. We provide maintenance, repair, and installation services for air conditioning and heating units, exhaust fans, make up air fans, refrigeration equipment, walk-in boxes, reach-in boxes, water heaters, boilers, and space heaters. In addition, we offer preventative maintenance agreements for all the mentioned equipment.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Service Mechanic. The Service Mechanic will be responsible for performing field service tasks, including maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of HVACR systems and equipment. The role also includes handling heavy equipment and conducting preventive maintenance activities.
Qualifications
Field Service and Maintenance & Repair skills
Experience in troubleshooting HVACR systems and equipment
Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices
Ability to work with heavy equipment
Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in the HVACR industry is a plus
Relevant certifications or licenses are preferred
