Position Overview
The Counter Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all customers. The duties also include accurately taking in (drop off) and returning (pick up) items through the ZIPS point of sale system and processing payment. The Counter Associate is also responsible for maintaining ZIPS Cleaners standards according to policy and procedures established in the operations manual and as defined by the Franchisee of the store.
Depending on the store volume and organizational layout, this position may be combined with other duties such as Tagging or Assigning.
Key Responsibilities
Perform all opening, ongoing, and closing duties as assigned
Assist Customers in a courteous, enthusiastic, helpful and timely manner
Perform the ZIPSsoft Point of Sale system and accurately perform all functions
Follow established Customer drop-off procedures
Follow established Customer pick-up procedures
Follow safety and security guidelines
Inform customers of all ZIPS has to offer
Complete all assigned duties in a timely manner
Perform other job duties as assigned

Completed required management training to become part of the management team
