Well-established dog training, boarding, and daycare facility looking for an experienced full-time office receptionist. Ideal candidate must have exceptional people skills and preferably has worked in the pet industry (veterinary, daycare, boarding).
We are a busy boarding, training and daycare facility seeking someone to work at our front desk as a receptionist and to perform general office work to include checking client's dogs in and out, taking payments, writing emails, answering phones, and being the main communication point between our kennel staff and trainers.

2. Able to work in an extremely busy environment while multi-tasking.
3. Patient and tolerant customer service personality and customer service problem solving skills.
4. The ability to work independently and make spontaneous decisions.
5. Attention to detail and ability to schedule appointments
6. The ability to compose literate, intelligent and sensible responses via email for a variety of subjects.
7. Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
8. Navigate through propriety kennel software with proper instruction and training.
9. Being comfortable around all breeds and sizes of dogs.
10. Must be available to work some weekends, schedule set a month ahead of time and is set.
11. Our front office is closed on major holidays (Christmas, Thanksgiving, July 4th, Easter, Memorial Day), but our kennel staff works 365 days a year. Kennels are busiest around major holidays so must be available to work around most holidays.
