Job Snapshot:
Position/Title:Production Worker
Location: Sparrows Point/Baltimore, 21219
Compensation: Full-time (40hr/wk); $18-20/hr+; Benefit package available after 90 days; compensation based on experience; paid weekly.
General Description:
Must be able to understand the weekly schedule and record production sheets.
Must be willing to be cross-trained and move to other areas as needed.
Shift: 7:00-5:00pm Tuesday through Friday
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform routine production functions including:
Weigh, package, shovel and stack materials.
Start and stop equipment.
Walk up and down ladders.
Mark packaging for identification.
Keep work area clean and organized.
Responsible for learning various parts of the manufacturing process.
Assure daily production goals are met, and all products are made to the highest standard of quality.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
Ability to lift and stack 50lbs.
Possess strong comprehension skills.
Be prompt and reliable.
Ability to comply with all employee, safety, and environmental policies and regulations.
Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
All references will be verified.
Preferred Qualifications:
Forklift operation experience.
Manufacturing/warehouse experience.
Mechanically inclined and good with hand tools.
