Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, this position exists to install, maintain, and enhance equipment at a local manufacturing facility.
Performs all equipment repairs and troubleshooting. Ability to read and understand related technical drawings/schematics and mechanical systems. Performs mechanical equipment repairs including motor and conveyors. Completes start up and changeovers for mechanical equipment.
Assists in maintaining an accurate inventory and maintenance logs through activities such as: proper reporting of parts inventory usage, tracking of time worked on Emaint, minimizing waste, reporting any spills or unique situations that adversely impact operations. Maintain various production logs to record downtime/issues which arise during assignment. Completes all required paperwork (timesheets, quality sheets) accurately. Must have forklift and scissor lift experience.
