HELPER / SUPPORT PERSON FOR MARINE REPAIR COMPANY WANTED
Petersen Marine Service is a full service mobile marine repair company in Baltimore. We are looking for a full time person who can perform all the following duties for and with our staff.
Deckhand on pump out boat.
Sanding and painting of bottoms of boats, as needed.
Helper assisting our technicians on the repair of boats, as needed.
Pick-up of materials and parts from our vendors, as needed.
General repairs to company owned tools, equipment, boats and shop, as needed.
This job could be a great opportunity for someone who has interest in the marine trades.
Candidates must meet the following requirements.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
Ability to work unsupervised, self-motivated, self-starter.
Highest level of work ethic. Lateness, no call no shows and missed time not tolerated.
Able to work outside all year round in all weather conditions.
Must be able to swim.
Reliable transportation for materials pick-up and delivery, Reimbursed mileage and tolls.
Drivers license, proof of insurance and good driving record.
Candidates should have or be willing to get a Maryland Boaters Safety Card.
Ability to operate a boat or ability to learn a plus.
Full time, 40 hours a week, overtime as needed.
Paid holidays.
Uniforms provided.
Medical Insurance after 90 days will be offered with employee contribution.
Paid vacation after 1 year.
$16.00 an Hour
