Bilingual Medical Assistant (Spanish-Speaking)

Location: 1406 Crain Highway South, Glen Burnie, Maryland 21061

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

No weekends required

Pay: Competitive - Based on experience and skill set

Position Overview:

An adaptable and emotionally intelligent Bilingual Medical Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal

Candidate will be fluent in Spanish and English, possess strong phlebotomy, injection, and EKG skills

skills, and demonstrate a high level of professionalism and empathy when caring for a diverse,

multicultural patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform phlebotomy and obtain vital signs for patients of all ages (0-80)

- Administer intradermal, subcutaneous, and intramuscular injections

- Conduct EKGs and other clinical procedures accurately and efficiently

- Deliver excellent customer service and culturally competent patient care

- Provide detailed and accurate charting using Tebra EMR system (training available if needed)

- Assist in front and back office functions as needed to keep clinic operations running smoothly

- Manage downtime productively and support team members collaboratively

- Maintain professionalism and phone etiquette in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

- Fluent in Spanish and English (required)

- Medical Assistant Certification or equivalent experience preferred

- Excellent phlebotomy and injection skills

- Proficient in EKG administration

- Computer literate with strong charting/documentation skills

- Reliable, adaptable, patient, and team-oriented

- Experience using Tebra EMR system preferred (training provided if needed)

- Emotionally intelligent and dedicated to patient-centered care
