Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate LIVE IN Caretaker to join our team. The Caretaker will provide care and support to individuals in need, including those with autism, the elderly, or individuals with disabilities.
Duties:
- Assist with daily living activities such as grooming, bathing, and dressing
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Administer first aid when needed
- Support individuals with autism or other special needs in daily activities
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for those under your care
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and social workers to ensure the well-being of individuals live-in Caregivers for Assisted Living Homes ( Baltimore, MD) (Glen Burnie)Men on the Move Assisted Living
Seeking a kind-hearted, intelligent, honest healthcare professional/caregiver to live in and care for highly functioning residents. You will be provided with a lovely private room in a beautifully remodeled home with all amenities included.
Responsibilities: Organizing and properly administering medications on a schedule, taking and recording blood pressure, maintaining a small home, cooking/providing healthy nutritious meals and fluids, maintaining a beneficial schedule, stimulating social interaction with residents, overseeing ADL’s (Activity Daily Living), arranging doctor and therapist appointments, attending and taking notes at all medical appointments, communicating medical, clients billing each month and other issues to Assisted living manager/Owner. The assisted living will be implementing an ICARE Management System. Therefore, our client's information will be done on a computer—no paper files. You need to be able to work with a computer and learn the system.
WRITTEN RESUME AND REFERENCES REQUIRED. Healthcare (CMT) experience & coursework are preferred. MS Office skills. Good Communication Skills
PROOF OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING PREFERRED BUT WILL PROVIDE TRAINING

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving, nursing homes, or related fields
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Ability to work with diverse populations, including individuals with autism or disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations with empathy and professionalism
- Certification in first aid is preferred
- Experience in healthcare preferred
