We are a busy cafe & catering company with a quick service model as well as a full service catering company. We are family owned and operated - open Monday thru Friday from 7am-3pm and Saturday for Brunch from 8am-3pm. The Corner Pantry handles drop-off, pick-up and full service catered events. We have a strong team of driven individuals that we are looking to grow.
Seeking:
Catering Chef-flexible availability, self starter, culinary passion and experience necessary.
Position includes involvement with the cafe-high volume scratch cooking with gourmet products, prepping and producing food for all catering outlets, working off site to execute full service events and supporting the Executive Chef-Owner day-to-day. Must be able to take direction and work as a team player.
Ideal Candidates:
Have knowledge of food and and are eager to learn about new ingredients and methods
Have experience on multiple stations of a restaurant or cafe service and a formal understanding of catering
Are able to lift, bend, reach and move quickly
Are willing and able to learn and grow
Support their team members and management
Are able to communicate well and in a kind and efficient way
Are able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for up to 8 hours
