Job Title: Senior Data Engineer – Azure, DatabricksLocation: Remote - EST Role Type: 9-month contract + possible extensions Description PURPOSE: The Senior Data Engineer is responsible for orchestrating, deploying, maintaining and scaling cloud OR on-premise infrastructure targeting big data and platform data management (Relational and NoSQL, distributed and converged) with emphasis on reliability, automation and performance. This role involves the development of solutions and helping transform the company's platforms deliver data-driven, meaningful insights and value to company. The selected candidate will help automate a large amount of data files into the server and help to develop analytics.QualificationsExperience: 8 – 10 years’ experience in data engineering Experience developing and updating ETL/ELT scripts. Recent experience with Azure Experience with Databricks, SSIS, SQL Experience with Hadoop or Snowflake Experience with Power BI is a plusExcellent organizational and communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to handle multiple priorities. Strong technical and analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot to solve a variety of problems.
