Join our growing team today.SUMMARY: Perform quality checks to ensure that product meets customer specifications and company requirements.RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES:

Monitor and verify injection process and product for defects per standard operating procedures and ensure compliance to all GMP, SQF and product safety practices.

Maintain accurate record-keeping on all quality reports per standard operating procedures.

Monitor inspection of packing process.

Perform sampling and testing of products in accordance with quality standards that are traceable to accredited methods (i.e. ANSI, ISO, NIST, Mil E, etc.).

Must perform any other assigned duties.

Accepts responsibility to comply with all safety, quality, customer, ISO, SQF and any other regulatory requirements. And has the authority to report concerns that could impact these requirements or suggest areas for improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Must have excellent attendance.

Must have strong math skills with some knowledge of graphing on quality charts.

Must have strong communication skills.

Must be able to work independently with some supervision.

Must be able to read and interpret product drawings.

Must have legible handwriting and accurate record-keeping skills.

Must be available to work overtime as needed.

Must be able to use measuring instruments such as vacuum chamber, gram scale, dial calipers, color light box, torque gauge and Sheffield gauge.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Must be able to lift and stack cartons and handle skids.

Capable of physical mobility including walking, sitting, bending, twisting, standing, pushing, pulling and lifting/moving (up to 35 pounds periodically).

Capable of visual acuity to include distinguishing color variation and detecting defects.

Able to work safely in a production environment, recognizing various sounds and alarms.
