Description We are seeking a highly organized and empathetic Intake Specialist to join our team on a long-term temporary basis. The Intake Specialist will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking legal assistance. This role is critical in ensuring that potential clients receive prompt attention, compassionate support, and accurate information regarding the firm's services.This role is fully in office and will provide crossover training to get the temporary employee up to speed. This position is in Downtown Baltimore and supports a reputable law firm.

Manage incoming calls, emails, and online inquiries from potential clients.

Conduct initial screenings to determine the nature of inquiries and assess the potential for legal representation.

Gather relevant information from clients, including personal details, case facts, and legal documentation.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of all client interactions and inquiries.

Coordinate appointments and consultations between potential clients and attorneys.

Provide compassionate support and guidance to individuals during the intake process.

Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to ensure smooth transition of cases from intake to representation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

Previous experience in customer service, client intake, or a similar role preferred.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate and empathetic demeanor.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software is a plus.

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is advantageous but not required.
