Description Robert Half is partnering up with a young healthcare organization (mental health) that is looking to hire their first Human Resources Director. This person will contribute to the goals and objectives of the HR team as well as provide oversight and day-to-day HR management to multiple facilities that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture. The Director of HR will help emphasize goal attainment, productivity, empowerment, quality, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. The Human Resources Director will be responsible for the implementation of policies and procedures, services and will partner with company managers on HR issues while administering all phases of the HR function.Essential Job Functions Create and support a positive, professional, team-oriented, harassment-free work environment by understanding and complying with the company's policies. In partnership with corporate risk management, oversee workplace accident investigations and claims reporting with workers compensation insurance carrier. In partnership with facility supervisors, successfully on-board new employees within allotted time frame as indicated by the scope of the role. Responsible for succession planning to all levels of positions within the facility. Responsible for researching and implementing pay grades that align to the industry and geographic region. Oversee leave of absence process in compliance with state and federal regulations. Promote a culture of employee engagement by directing initiatives that impact employee morale, fosters a culture of engagement and retains top tier talent. Responsible for FTE management in coordination with the facility budget. Conduct exit interviews to determine areas of opportunity for facility and/or supervisor. Manage the timely completion of the company's performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization (includes 90-day review and annual reviews required by the accrediting agency). Monitor adherence to company and department policies, procedures and practices; this includes holding accountability to staff who do not adhere to policies and procedures. Ensure necessary HR licensure requirements to ensure compliance with CARF/JOINT/State & local agencies. Manage the administrative functions of the annual open enrollment period including the following: arrange for distribution of information such as plan summary materials and required notices, assist with communicating changes to employees and arrange for onsite representation by providers. Train and assist employees with benefits enrollment as necessary to ensure correct and timely processing of information. A Bachelor's degree in HR or related field. SHRM or PHR certification preferred.

Understanding of Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), Joint Commision Standards and HIPPA regulations required,

Healthcare Experience Strongly Preferred.

Experience with benefits administration and plan management.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
