About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity methodologies. You will play a critical role in protecting our organization's data, systems, and networks by implementing and maintaining advanced security measures. Key Responsibilities:
Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures to protect the organization's data, systems, and networks.
Identify and respond to security incidents and breaches in a timely manner.
Perform troubleshooting of security and network-related issues.
Conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure appropriate security controls are in place.
Participate in change management processes and security improvement initiatives.
Test and identify network and system vulnerabilities using various security tools and methodologies.
Generate reports and provide insights on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and system performance.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in incident detection, incident response, and digital forensics.
Hands-on experience with security technologies including Firewalls, VPNs, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), IDS/IPS, Web Proxies, and endpoint security solutions.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C, Java, Ruby, Node.js, Go, and/or PowerShell.
Strong understanding of Office 365 Security and VSX environments.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
Solid knowledge of current cybersecurity trends, emerging threats, and hacking techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISM, or equivalent).
Experience with cloud security solutions and services.
Familiarity with SIEM and security monitoring tools.
