Compensated overnight opioid withdrawal study

The opioid detox study is for people who experience withdrawal when they stop using opioids. If you are 18 or older and want to detox off of opioids like fentanyl or heroin, you may qualify for our study. As part of the study, you will be withdrawn from opioids using an FDA-approved medication over an 11-day period at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center Campus. After the study, you will be offered follow-up with either buprenorphine (Suboxone) or naltrexone (Vivitrol). Compensation up to $1,130 is possible.
