Early Childhood/Elementary Education Teachers Needed

For Pre-k, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grade Classrooms

The Children of Christ Ambassadors School is seeking experience teachers to join and be involved in developing a high-quality, private Christian school that serves students and families in the Aberdeen, Maryland and surrounding communities.

The Children of Christ Ambassadors School focuses on providing young people with the spiritual and academic foundation to obey God's will for their lives and to walk in a manner worthy of their calling.

Our teachers will have the opportunity to develop a culture that encourages spiritual growth, and academic excellence. The ideal candidate must have a passion for education and possess strong organizational skills to create an engaging learning environment for students. In addition, they must demonstrate the love of Christ and can encourage students in developing a relationship with Him, demonstrate Christian love, faith, truthfulness, and virtue in all facets of life and teaching; demonstrate skills in training, instructing, and disciplining children focusing on the heart, and teach students in a manner consistent with Christian principles and approved curriculum.

Requirements:

 Be a born again, growing Christian who holds the minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; Master’s degree is a plus

 ACSI and/or State Teacher Certification

 Capable of teaching more than one course level, and willing to invest in the lives of amazing students

 Strong curriculum development skills

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsets

 Proficiency in Math, ELA, and other relevant subjects

 Ability to mentor and support students effectively

 Experience in classroom management and engaging teaching methods

Responsibilities:

 Develop and implement lesson plans in line with the school's curriculum

 Teach various subject ensuring student comprehension

 Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

 Mentor and guide students in their academic and personal growth

 Engage in classroom activities to promote interactive learning experiences

 Provide feedback on student assignments, proofread and edit work as needed

 Utilize library services and technology to enhance teaching materials and resources
