Job Description:
As a Procurement Food & Beverage Buyer and Retail Buyer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the customer experience by selecting and procuring a wide range of products that meet our high standards for quality, value, and sustainability. Your keen market insight, negotiation skills, and passion for food and retail will drive the success of our product lines, ensuring that we continue to delight our customers and stay ahead of industry trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement buying strategies for food, beverage, and retail products, aligning with company goals and customer preferences.
Forge strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate competitive prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, consumer preferences, and new product opportunities.
Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop promotional strategies and ensure product availability.
Monitor inventory levels and manage procurement processes to meet demand without overstocking.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
Analyze sales data and market feedback to adjust buying decisions and strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in procurement, buying, or a similar role within the food, beverage, and/or retail industry.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
