As with the other contracts in our neck of the woods, the work you provide our customer is mission-critical, and you join many others in helping to optimize and keep safe the systems that accomplish the goals of protecting data, people, and places. Some of the day-to-day activities include being in a fast-paced development effort to re-architect and modernize a high-visibility system. As a core member of the development team, you will design, develop and modify custom software solutions that solve problems, improve business operations, manage the complexity inherent with technology change and serve as a mentor for junior developers.Yeah, that was a mouthful. But, you get the picture! Some of the other “need to haves”: - Browser Frameworks (Angular, React, Vue.js)
- JavaScript build frameworks (npm, node.js, gulp, etc.)
- RESTful Microservices
- Mongo DB / Elasticsearch
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java Spring Boot, Maven, DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Containerization), Agile methodologies
- Experience developing cloud native architectures
- Two (2) years of experience with configuration management technologies such as Redmine, Subversion, or STAT
- Technical development experience with large-scale, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) implementation
