We are seeking a recent college graduate with a degree in electrical engineering who will support senior engineers by performing analyses to determine the potential for radio frequency interference (RFI) between various geostationary and non-geostationary satellite systems.The RF Engineer 1 will receive immediate supervision from management as well as technical guidance and training from the more experienced technical staff. Essential Job Responsibilities

Perform basic engineering analysis using Excel spreadsheets, MS Access data bases, and other modeling tools to determine the potential for RFI between various geostationary and non-geostationary satellite systems. Duties often include the collection of technical parameters of the satellites to be analyzed.

Prepare draft messages and other documentation to support the analysis findings.

Has limited independent interaction with customers and typically provides input to project managers on programmatic and technical deliverables under immediate supervision by more senior technical personnel.

Comply with applicable quality and security procedures in the performance of duties.

May provide recommendations for improvements to existing quality systems and applicable company procedures and guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications

0 years experience with Bachelors in Electrical Engineering.

Basic knowledge of engineering principals, methods, and techniques within a specific area of expertise.

Basic knowledge of relevant tools, equipment, hardware, and software.

Basic internal team communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with a special emphasis on good writing skills.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

U.S. Citizenship is required.

Clearance: At least an interim secret clearance.

Preferred Requirements

Coursework in RF Engineering Technologies.

Prior Internship work in Engineering, Space and Defense, DoD, or Government contracting a plus.

Physical Requirements

May require working in an office, industrial, or laboratory environment.

Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
