We’ve got what you’re looking for.Job Description:Parsons Corporation, a leading technology and engineering firm, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in business operations, data analytics, and proficiency with PowerBI. This role is crucial for driving operational efficiency and providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.Key Responsibilities:

Operational Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analyses of business operations to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Data Analytics: Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to extract, analyze, and interpret complex data sets. Develop actionable insights to support business objectives and strategic initiatives.

PowerBI Reporting: Create, maintain, and optimize interactive PowerBI dashboards and reports that provide clear, actionable insights for various stakeholders. Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports.

Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process inefficiencies and implement best practices. Lead initiatives to streamline operations and improve overall productivity.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to track progress against business goals. Provide regular performance reports and highlight areas requiring attention.

Stakeholder Communication: Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Prepare presentations and reports for senior management.

Project Management: Manage and support various projects related to business operations and data analytics. Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and successful project outcomes.

Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members on the use of PowerBI and other data analytics tools. Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degrees and relevant certifications are a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business operations, data analytics, or a related field. Demonstrated experience with PowerBI is required.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in PowerBI, including data modeling, DAX, and Power Query. Strong knowledge of data analytics tools and techniques, including SQL and Excel.

Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to various audiences.

Project Management: Experience managing projects and working with cross-functional teams. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with other data visualization tools such as Tableau.

Knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.

Familiarity with business intelligence and data warehousing concepts.
