We’re a national executive search firm that partners with purpose-driven organizations to recruit transformational leadership. Our clients include nonprofits, associations, and mission-led companies working to make a difference.

We’re seeking a Communications & Search Project Manager to play a key role in managing the flow of client search projects from kickoff to candidate interviews. This part-time hybrid role (20–25 hours/week) blends project coordination, client communication, document preparation, and regular interaction with C-suite executives.

You’ll work both remotely and in person 2–3 days per week at our Edgewater, MD office — ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of independence and collaborative office time.

What You’ll Do

Coordinate executive search engagements, updating timelines and ensuring smooth delivery of project milestones.

Prepare polished client-facing materials (project plans, candidate reports, interview schedules, etc.).

Draft, proofread, and format bios, cover letters, and e-books for executive search committees.

Organize and prepare interview materials, and participate in planning calls with clients and internal team members.

Supervise a Digital Media Manager on social media and website content needs.

What You Bring

4+ years of experience in project coordination, executive support, communications, or a professional services setting.

Excellent writing and editing skills with a sharp eye for clean, client-ready documents.

Strong verbal and written communication skills — you’re comfortable engaging with senior-level executives and clients.

Highly organized, deadline-driven, and tech-savvy.

Experience with Office 365 products such as Word and PowerPoint, Google Docs/Sheets, PDF formatting, and basic digital tools for remote collaboration.

A high degree of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.

Bonus Points If You Have

B.A. in Communications, Journalism or English

Background in executive search, HR, nonprofit, or association sectors.

Experience creating linked PDF reports or password-protected documents.

Familiarity with managing or supporting digital media tasks.
