JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a well-organized, detail-oriented Drywall Foreman. This person will need to be able to supervise the onsite crew, manage the project making sure all tasks are done properly and in a timely manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices, and rectifies job site hazards.
Direct activities concerned with production.
Maintain construction schedule.
Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, supplier and other employees.
Plan, organize or direct activities concerned with the construction or maintenance of structures, facilities and/or systems.
Supervise employees on jobsite (i.e., subs)
Ensure all job reports and documents are submitted correctly and on time.
Maintain written and photographic documentation daily, showing work completed, and damage done by other trades, safety issues, etc.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Should have three to five years of experience as a Foreman in the construction industry and have experience on metal framing, drywall, FRP work, finishing work, acoustical ceilings and doors and frames.
Must have valid driver’s license.
The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be detail oriented have excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving abilities and proven leadership skills.
The ability to handle multiple projects/tasks.
Communicate in a professional manner with all persons associated with the project, especially the client representatives.
The ability to prioritize work.
The ability to maintain a positive attitude and composure in stressful situations.
Must have a good understanding of construction methods, scheduling and blueprint reading.
Familiarity with software such as Bluebeam, PlanGrid, PDF’s etc.
Willingness to travel/work out of territory intermittently
