We're seeking self-motivated, energetic individuals to join our natural stone products sales team.

Arkadia is known in the area as a company with high standards of work and an undisputed reputation for customer service. This is an immediate hire opportunity. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Arkadia Surfaces offers a spectacular interactive showroom experience. Our showroom, offering endless ideas everywhere you look, features hundreds of products from most innovative and environmentally friendly brands in countertops, cabinetry, tile and fixtures.

The Designer/Sales Associate is the sole point of contact with our customers throughout the sales process and is responsible for informing clients, presenting our products and successfully closing deals. Work environment is comfortable with frequent opportunity to move about. Light lifting is required occasionally. Ongoing support and help from management is available.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

- Meets with customers in showroom and in home to determine customer needs and ideas.

- Provides inspiration in color matching and materials, offers exceptional customer service by assessing our clients' needs and assisting them with product selection

- Educates customers on a wide variety of products to help them make informed decisions

- Answers phones and emails, responds to customer inquiries in a timely fashion

- Plans & organizes work to meet agreed upon sales goals

- Works with all personnel and outside contacts to ensure seamless sales operation is achieved and customers' needs are met

- Assists walk-in customers

- Organizes and administers sales paper-work

- Plan and coordinate with clients for in-home estimates

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous sales experience in home improvement, countertop experience is a plus.

Must have an aptitude for calculations (measurements, structure supports, discounts, etc)

Some knowledge of countertop materials, cabinetry and appliance structures.

Experience with cabinet design software a plus

Strong computer skills, working knowledge of MS Office applications required.

Positive attitude, exemplary attendance, and reliable team member

Ability to work 9:00 am 6:00 pm Monday Through Friday

Valid driver's license

Criminal background and drug screening
