Oncology team members work side-by-side with our board certified Veterinary Oncologists treating cancers like osteosarcoma, lymphoma, melanoma, and many more.
They are responsible for many aspects of patient care including taking detailed histories, phlebotomy, and IV catheter placement, chemotherapy infusions, and record keeping.
The right candidate will have an eye for detail and follow through and enjoy creating a bond with patients and clients.

You will use your communication and problem-solving skills combined with your clinical knowledge to be a passionate patient advocate. You should have a high level understanding of drug calculations and prescription calculations and be prepared to assist owners with refills and medication questions.
You should have experience taking detailed patient histories and providing pertinent information to the attending veterinarian – understanding the prioritization of clinical information is a highly valued trait.
Many of our patients are chronically ill, geriatric or acutely ill, so proper restraint and compassionate advocacy must be a part of your skillset.
Successful candidates will be excellent and timely verbal and written communicators – our patients and clients depend on it.
