A Fortune 500 Aerosapce Client of ours is looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer who will perform full life-cycle software development including designing system and software solutions; supporting implementation, integration and testing; and finally participating in deployment, monitoring and troubleshooting of field problems. The candidate will also frequently work with members of other teams such as system engineering, system performance, network engineering, system acceptance, implementation and operation teams. Troubleshooting integration issues with aircraft manufacturers, avionic vendors, and other service providers are activities the candidate will support at times.
Our Linux based system is a critical part of a global aviation communications network where protocols and high availability are integral to the overall design. The candidate will primarily develop software for air-ground and ground-ground communication applications, command and control, test tools, security patching, OS customization and upgrades.Required Experience:• The ideal candidate will possess five (5) or more years of communication or system software development experience.• The ideal candidate will have experience using disciplined development processes in a team environment.• The ideal candidate must possess excellent writing and verbal communication skills.Desired Experience: C/Python, Object Oriented Design, Linux, Network Protocols, Data Communication, High Availability and Security.Education:• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other STEM degrees.#LI-WB#DiceVacancy caducado!
