Job description
We are looking to hire an attentive Childcare Lead teacher for our home day care classroom. The lead teacher is responsible for engaging children in developmentally appropriate activities and basic childcare.
We have a fully equipped and independent classroom with a mixed age group of 8 kids. Candidates need to be able to manage the classroom independently.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Must have reliable transportation.
Minimum 1 year experience working as a Childcare Teacher in a daycare setting.
Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred.
Providing basic care for children which includes feeding, grooming, and changing diapers.
Using various learning methods such as stories, games and drawing to intellectually stimulate children.
Communicating with parents and providing updates on children’s progress.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour based on experience.
