Link Solutions is seeking a Linux System Administrator (Senior-Level) to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.Must be a US Citizen Must have an active DoD Security Clearance.Non-remote (relocation incentive available)Our Linux System Administrator (Senior-Level) will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and security of Windows-based workstations and services in compliance with DoD and ARL IT policies at the Army Research Laboratory in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.  Join a team of dedicated professionals at an industry-leading organization, where you will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects that contribute to national security. This position offers significant opportunities for career advancement and professional growth while supporting critical missions and operations. Job Responsibilities:Install, configure, and manage RHEL systems and Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization environments.Administer KVM virtualization, Puppet automation, and kernel-level tuning.Implement system patching, STIG compliance, and release/version control.Monitor performance, handle incident response, and ensure uptime and data integrity.Automate tasks using shell scripting, Ansible, or equivalent configuration management tools.Maintain backup and recovery solutions and ensure disaster recovery readiness.Conduct system audits and enforce DoD security requirements.Maintain accurate and comprehensive configuration documentation.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
