OverviewThis position is contingent upon contract awardSOS International LLC (SOSi), is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen, MD. In this role, you will play an key part in delivering information management solutions to our government customer.Essential Job Duties
Responsible for full life-cycle support including development, maintenance, administration, and management.
Provide a total system perspective including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of hardware and software components for a project.
Manage overall computing environment and architecture in the DoD.
Minimum Requirements
Thorough knowledge of Windows, Unix, Linux, virtualization, routing/switching and databases.
Experience with Virtualization software (VMWare, Cloud Virtualization).
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
In-depth knowledge of the Army and DoD IT policies and governance and be an expert in the constraints our DoD environment puts on implementation of COTS products.
Experience with agile, sprint, scrum software development methodologies.
Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Solutions Architect.
Active Secret Clearance.

Working on-site on a military facility in Aberdeen, MD.

May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable).
