Auditing Clerk

Description We are in search of a Night Auditor for a client located in York, Maine. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity within our industry. The successful candidate will carry out a variety of responsibilities, including processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving inquiries. The role also entails monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action.Responsibilities: Implement night and day end audit procedures for various departments including Front Desk, Spa, Food & Beverage, and Pool. Accurately maintain and balance all bank accounts. Efficiently distribute daily reports. Manage wake-up call services for guests. Ensure accurate posting of payments during guest check-in and check-out as necessary. Keep the housekeeping team updated on changes during the audit shift. Promptly inform maintenance of any reported issues. Handle phone inquiries and requests from guests. Prepare and deliver express check-outs for guests. Run and print reports as requested by other departments. Keep track of old and unsold newspapers, and deliver them as requested by Inn guests. Set up coffee service in the upper lobby by a specified time. Update quotation signs in lobby frames as needed.
