In this role you provide leadership in the day-to-day activities for an assigned production area or work group. Supervise manufacturing personnel and responsible for meeting production schedule and product quality requirements.WHAT YOU’LL DO

Plan resources to meet the daily production schedule and produce quality products.

Manages major projects; coordinates multiple tasks, and participates in cross-functional teams

Monitors processes to determine actions that assure costs, productivity, yields, lead time, service level, and inventory control activities are in line with business goals.

Manages exempt and non-exempt employees; provides continuous feedback and performs employee year-end evaluations.

Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System.

Develops and implements production operational excellence activities and identifies and executes continuous improvement opportunities in production processes, plans, tasks, and solutions.

Plan resources to meet daily production schedule and produce quality products.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRINGREQUIRED:

Bachelor's Degree: or 2+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience with Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement processes.

4+ years of supervisory experience.

Knowledge of manufacturing planning, documentation systems.

Experience in a federally regulated environment preferred; knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality standards preferred.

Ability or aptitude to work on problems that are complex in scope where analysis of situations or data involves multiple competing priorities.
