Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team based in Wells, Maine. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts payable function within our organization. The clerk will be responsible for managing a backlog of accounts payable tasks and will be expected to use various software tools to accomplish their tasks. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Processing and logging invoices in a timely manner using software such as Profund ADS and Excel Conducting account reconciliation tasks to verify that all data is accurate Processing check runs and coding invoices appropriately Managing data entry tasks related to accounts payable Ensuring all invoices are processed and paid on time Collaborating with the team to manage workload and ensure all deadlines are met Resolving any accounts payable issues or discrepancies that may arise Ensuring all accounts payable records are accurate and up-to-date Assisting with additional support tasks as needed within the accounts payable function.Requirements Proficient in Account Reconciliation Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) Experience with Check Runs Skilled in Coding Invoices Proficient in Data Entry Knowledge of Invoice Processing Proficient in Microsoft Excel Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong problem-solving skills.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
