Description Robert Half Legal is seeking a Paralegal in Maine with Title experience. Working within a team of 4 paralegals, the candidate is customer-service oriented, maintains a positive attitude and has excellent organizational skills. High proficiency in written and verbal communications and working knowledge of Microsoft office is mandatory. Experience in Qualia is highly desirable. Hybrid schedule or FULLY REMOTE for the right candidate. First 30 days in office required for training. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Review title commitments to ensure all necessary information is in the file. Solicit and research financial and other relevant information to facilitate file movement to closing. Maintain cooperation with outside attorneys for document provision applicable to a transaction. Review purchase and sale agreements, and all addendums, to ensure they match the closing disclosure. Ensure the accuracy of payoffs, taxes, insurance, and good-to-date interest. Communicate and coordinate with all involved parties to produce final closing statements. Provide closing figures to all parties involved and address any outstanding questions to guarantee a smooth closing. Prepare all necessary closing documents and finalize checks/financial information for transactions. Coordinate closing dates and times with buyers, borrowers, sellers, brokers, lenders, and maintain schedule coordination. Prepare and dispatch closing packages by mail, when applicable. Confirm wire instructions via phone.Requirements Requirements: Proven title experience in Maine is mandatory, not just real estate experience.
