Description We are in search of a Insurance Authorization Coordinator to join our team in the Healthcare industry situated in Saco, Maine. This role offers a contract employment opportunity. As an Insurance Authorization Coordinator, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of handling customer inquiries, maintaining customer records, and taking appropriate action on customer accounts. Responsibilities: Handle customer inquiries professionally and confidentially Make outbound calls to insurance companies to verify benefits Proficiently use Chrome, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe Handle confidential patient information professionally Utilize Electronic Medical RecordsRequirements Proficiency in handling both inbound and outbound calls, demonstrating excellent communication skills. Familiarity with the healthcare industry. Experience in coordinating insurance authorizations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Ability to manage and maintain electronic medical records with a high level of accuracy. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and regulations within the healthcare sector. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
