Manufacturing- Production Assembly and Shipping/ReceivingDielectric is hiring a full-time Manufacturing Production worker for both the Assembly Production and Shipping/ Receiving departments. The individual responsible will complete activities to support overall logistics operations of the manufacturing assembly and shipping of antennas, RF equipment, and their respective unique parts. Must be familiar with quality standards concepts, practices, and procedures within a manufacturing environment. Must be able to perform a variety of tasks under general supervision with strong problem- solving skills, and the desire to learn.Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with production specification and plant data for product assembly
Ability to use hand tools, basic power tools, as well as finishing tools for preparing shipment.
Able to produce a quality product in a safe and timely manner with an awareness of defects before product completion.
Receive Materials Sales Order information from Supervisor, review and pick parts with efficiency and attention to detail, checking for accuracy and completeness before packaging.
Recognize, remove, and/or report defective products during the packaging process.
Understand and utilize shipping safety standards for loading products into designated box/ carton
Accurately label each package with required information, maintaining high standards of precision
Participate in stacking and preparing of products for storage or shipment
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure working environment.
Identify, troubleshoot, and correct problems for process and efficiency
Able to multi-task
Other duties as assigned
Required Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be able to follow all safety guidelines
Knowledge and understanding of RF, TV and FM antenna equipment is a plus, but not required
Strong product and safety knowledge is a must
Demonstrated organizational & communication skills with attention to detail and understanding of quality criteria
Able to work both independently and in a team environment
Analytical with strong problem-solving abilities
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
Must be able to operate all equipment safely and within the manufacturer's specifications
The employee is required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel and crouch frequently. Able to work at heights using ladders, manlifts, and scissor lifts
