Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond?Job Summary:This is a Weekend Shift. Friday-Sunday , 6:00am-6:30pm , Work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours. Training takes place on a dayshift.Multiple openings available! With the opportunity for a pay raise after 6 months, and regular pay increases thereafter. Once you are fully trained for the job, overtime is available for most. Eligible for an annual results bonus with a target of 4%.Pratt & Whitney provides an inclusive, comprehensive benefits package for all full-time employees, including, but not limited to:·Competitive time off benefits, including a paid holiday between Christmas and New Year·Comprehensive medical/dental insurance for you and your family (including domestic partner coverage and pet insurance!This is a 2nd Shift Opening. 4X10 ShiftKey Responsibilities:Build and / or disassemble a variety of new technology production gas turbine engine modules, subassemblies and accessories.Follow specified work instructions including assembly floor specifications, computer generated work instructions, assembly drawings and work orders to assure compliance with requirements.Properly complete all necessary build records and other required documentation.Support continuous improvement initiatives as well as any other duties deemed necessary by supervision.Basic Qualifications:High School or GED1 + years of related experience, or a completed degree/certificate from a post-secondary or vocational school in a related field with 0-1+years related experienceU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contractPreferred Qualifications:Ability to read and understand commercial and military procedures and other approved technical data required to assemble jet engine parts.Flexibility in job assignments and able to perform a variety of assembly functions on commercial and military products.May be required to train for, obtain and maintain licenses, operator permits and certifications as required.May require some travel, assist other business units and work special shifts as needed.Must be able to read, write and understand English.AP license preferredDemonstrated versatility, flexibility and initiative, with high level of organization skills to cover multiple areas as business needs dictate.Strong communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong computer skillsFlexibility around shifts, for training and to maintain workflow, to include overtimeAbility to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneouslyAdditional Information:RTX is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
