Description Robert Half is looking for a Contract to Hire Financial Aid Specialist. As a Financial Aid Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting students and families in navigating the complexities of financial aid processes. Your primary responsibilities will include evaluating financial aid applications, determining eligibility for various aid programs, and providing comprehensive guidance to students regarding available funding options.

Provide personalized guidance and assistance to students and families regarding financial aid options, application procedures, and eligibility requirements.

Conduct financial aid workshops and informational sessions to educate students and parents about available funding sources and financial literacy.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial aid applications and disbursement of funds.

Maintain thorough knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy in all aspects of financial aid administration.

Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the financial aid office.

Serve as a resource for students and families seeking information on scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study opportunities.

Maintain confidentiality of student information and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with students, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements

Associates degree in finance, business administration, education, or a related field.

Previous experience in financial aid administration or student services preferred.

Strong knowledge of financial aid programs, regulations, and procedures.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
