Rosemont Market & Bakery is hiring early-morning delivery drivers. Our drivers hold a crucial roll in delivering some of the best, produce, bread, pastries, meats and prepared foods in Maine to our six stores. Individuals who are interested in connecting to Maine's local food scene, visiting with folks at all of our locations, have a clean driving record and work well alone and thrive as part of a team. New hires are trained in care and handling of our warehoused items as well as our vehicles. Shifts begin at 5 am.
Job Summary:
Pick-up and delivery of product to and from our hub and 6 stores
Manual loading/unloading of company vehicles
Picking orders for our stores from generated order sheets
Storing sorting and rotating produce and grocery items
General company vehicle care and maintenance
Requirements:
Clean driving record
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Able to lift 50lbs
Good communication and computer skills
Attention to detail and ability to recognize various produce and grocery items
Good attitude
Interest in local foods and supporting the local food economy
