Job Summary:

Sibley Transportation, Inc. is looking for a qualified, safety-minded professional to fill the position of full-time Driver. This person will be responsible for communicating with their respective dispatcher, staying up to date with their paperwork, and ensuring deliveries are made safely and on time.

Duties/Responsibilities:

-Ensure deliveries are made safely and on time.

-Maintain contact with the dispatcher; they will advise on traffic problems, such as construction areas, accidents, congestion, weather conditions, or other hazards.

-Complete the pre-check of the truck before each trip.

-Work closely with all departments to ensure timely delivery of customer freight.

-Maintain drop trailer pools and locations.

-Help facilitate the timely maintenance of company-owned equipment.

-Always keep dispatch software up to date.

Preferred Qualifications

-CDL Class A

Required Skills/Abilities:

-Clean driving record

-Interstate experience

-Valid DOT medical card

-A team-minded attitude!

Education/Experience:

-3+ years of experience.

Physical Requirements:

-Prolonged periods of sitting.

-Able to lift up to 20 pounds.
