Rvi Motorsports is currently seeking a passionate, motivated, and skilled individual to join our dynamic team as a Metal Fabrication Specialist. This position plays a crucial role in delivering top-notch services to our diverse clientele, emphasizing comprehensive understanding of customer objectives and ensuring the highest quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support in our metal fabrication shop, encompassing a wide array of tasks.
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers and measuring tools.
Understand and interpret blueprints or design sketches to bring the client's vision to fruition.
Participate in diverse tasks like trailer maintenance and truck body installations.
Heavy lifting is a frequent requirement of the role.
Note: While welding is part of the role, it will not be an all-day activity. Fabrication tasks form the bulk of the job (75%).
Required Skills & Experience:
Proficiency in MIG welding (steel, aluminum, and stainless steel), with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Demonstrated expertise in Dual Shield Flux Core procedures, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience.
Proven TIG welding skills (aluminum, stainless, and steel) with 2 years of practical experience.
Ability to read, understand, and work from blueprints.
Experience in general mechanics and trailer wiring and bearing repairs is a plus.
Forklift operation experience is an advantage, though training will be provided for the right candidate.
