Skilled Laborer - Carpenter - General Trades

We are a custom home building company that primarily serves Cumberland County, ME. While our focus is custom home design and construction, we offer many other services as well. This includes, but isn't limited to; decks, patios, custom interior/exterior carpentry, land development, and more. We are looking to add a new member to our team of builders. This is primarily a skilled labor and general carpentry position, though there will be times where you will have the opprtunity to work on a variety of other projects, and we will provide instruction as necessary. We are looking for someone who has some experience in residential construction or carpentry, as that is our main focus. Experience in other trades is a plus, though not required. However, if you do not have any experience, but are still interested, we would be willing to train the right individual. Responsibilities:

- Assemble and install various structrual and finish components in accordance with blueprints and specifications.

- Perform tasks related to the residential construction industry, such as flooring installation, drywall, masonry, siding, roofing, excavation, framing, and more.

- Operate equipment and machinery as needed.

- Work with concrete forming and pouring as needed.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in skilled labor or a related field (Preferred).

- Proficiency in various construction techniques and tools.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings (Preferred).

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week

Schedule:

4 hour shift

8 hour shift
